CRPV Soc. Coop. is an Istitution of the research and experimentation demand for plants crop production sector. For about 30 years it has been translating the needs and requirements expressed by producers into projects, starting from the O.P. and cooperatives, up to individual farmers.

It carries out activities of coordination projects and dissemination of results through the organization of conferences, drafting of articles and dissemination through its website and information to its social base. The themes are different: from conventional agriculture, up to integrated agriculture, organic farming, varietal innovation to crop protection, up to more topical issues, such as precision agriculture.

In this regard, the projects in which CRPV is involved both as coordinator and from a technical-implementation point of view, intervening in the following phases: analysis of business requirements, support to IT technicians in the design and implementation of ICT systems , testing and usability testing of systems, dissemination of results, are listed below.

1) MO.RE.FARMING: development of a platform for the collection and management of territorial and company data, to provide the user (technician or farmer) with information to support the decision-making process and promote more sustainable cultivation techniques, such as site management specific.

2) PRECISION KIWICULTURE: development of protocols for monitoring and forecasting of productive and qualitative potential in kiwiculture (cv. Hayward) in Emilia-Romagna.

3) QUALITYKIWI: establishment of an operational group capable of creating a Decision Support System (DSS) aimed at rationalizing agronomic interventions on Lazio kiwifruit.

4) MYTH: development of new tools and new reagent kits in order to develop new protocols and new agronomic techniques to rationalize the use of pesticides, depending on whether or not plant pathogens are detected in fruit and vegetable products.

5) SSM Grano - Validation and introduction of innovative site-specific management practices in the cultivation of wheat and other herbaceous species of interest for medium and large agricultural enterprises.

6) INVITAS - Establishment of an in-depth and processing cultivation path, aimed at the agronomic and technological evolution associated with the continuous improvement of the entire wine chain, which includes the prototyping of a DSS for monitoring environmental data in the vineyard

7) SOSTINNOVI - Management of agronomic practices in the vineyard through remote sensing with drones and objective assessment of grape ripeness with a smartphone.

8) VIVITOSCANO - The project deals with the enhancement of organic fruit and vegetable production in Tuscany, and is divided into several actions, one of which consists in the development of an agrofenological monitoring system to improve the sustainability of agronomic and phytosanitary interventions.

The DIBAF, Department for the Innovation of Biological, Agri-food and Forestry Systems, of the University of Tuscia, for some years, has been conducting research in the field of non-destructive sensors aimed at monitoring the physiological and qualitative aspects of numerous plant-based products, in its food technologies section.

On these experimental lines, different research projects have been developed, and activities, in agreement with companies and numerous scientific publications have been produced concerning different fresh and / or processed fruit and vegetables and also relating to the ornamental plants and cut flowers sector.

The sensors under study, with interesting applicative implications, are mainly based on near infrared spectroscopy (NIR), on the detection of profiles of volatile compounds through artificial noses and on the measurement of fluorescence.

The most important funded projects deriving from these scientific assumptions are: the MIPAAF project 'Traceability and standardization of the product quality of the Lilium, Protea and Ruscus species through the application of RFID and portable non-destructive technologies' (TRACEFLOR); the MIPAAF-OIGA project 'Early detection by non-destructive technologies of Plasmopara viticola' (INDIFESA); the just funded project, PIF-Toscana (PSR 2014-2020) 'Process sustainability for the healthiness of wine (wine without added sulphites) through the integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) to viticulture and precision enology' ( SOS WINE).

In the latter project, in particular a vineyard mapping method will be developed supported by miniaturized sensors integrated into a remote-managed detection system (Internet of Things, IoT). The aim is to re-propose the technology in question, having the significant advantage of decidedly affordable technological costs, for the purposes of this project proposal.

Fondagri was founded in 2007 on the initiative and intuition of three professional registers (the National Order of Graduated Agro-technicians the National Order of Agronomists and Forestry Doctors, and the National Order of Veterinarians) with the aim of being an instrument of inter-professional connection between the freelancers of these three categories and the resources contained in the Regional Rural Development Plans in the Measures dedicated to Training / Information and Consultancy.

Subsequently, the Order of Agronomists decided to leave the Foundation that it had helped to create, but the individual agronomists and forestry professionals who are self-employed, and still represent most of the active members continued to join.

Fondagri by responding to specific calls for recognition and organizing itself into technical staff has now achieved accreditation in many Italian regions, allowing registered freelancers to easily draw on funding dedicated to consultancy and training / information for farms.

All professionals with specific agronomic and zootechnical skills registered in a professional register, may require the inscription to FONDAGRI for the purposes of their immediate operation.

FONDAGRI maintains a total of 350 technicians accredited, registering a total of more than 1200 consultancy activities carried out between the period 2010-2015, positioning itself as a leading body in the national context for carrying out activities in Measure ex 114 current Measure 2.

The goal achieved places Fondagri in a privileged position to take advantage of the opportunities of the calls for tenders that are being prepared in the various Italian regions. It should be remembered that the number of consultations carried out in the period 2010-2015, the number of accredited technicians and the turnover always expressed in the same period of time places Fondagri in a Leader position towards all the other accredited bodies to participate in the new Measure 2.

The Estate Tenuta di Frassineto is a family business that occupies a total area (including buildings) of about 500 hectares of which 30 are intended for vineyards, 70 of arable land cultivated organically and the rest cultivated according to the technique of integrated agriculture.

Since the early 1900s the Tenuta di Frassineto was specialized in the selection and creation of wheat seeds with advanced methods.

Even currently, in the choice of crops, those with high added value are preferred (seed crops), which therefore require more modern technical solutions and highly professional management. As far as the production of wine is concerned, the estate use advanced solutions and computerized management systems that allow to carry out a control of all the processing phases, in order to ensure complete food safety.

In this way the final products are quality wines that also aim to export to foreign markets.

In company management, the primary objectives are high product quality, careful management of the environmental and landscape heritage, the use of the most modern techniques both in the production phase and in the vinification, the sustainable use of natural resources and production inputs.

The Buccelletti Vivai agricultural company of Vincenzo Buccelletti and C. S.S., covers about 65 hectares in the Municipality of Castiglion Fiorentino, of which about 4.5 are invested in vineyards.

Documents found in the ancient residences tell of the ancestors of the Buccelletti family who moved from Florence to Castiglion Fiorentino, in the Valle di Chio, since 1600, to develop the dream of cultivating the flourishing valley with olive groves. The main activity has always been the production of oil and wine of the highest quality.

The Buccelletti family, since the death of their grandfather Michele in 1983, destined the productions only to family use until 1994 when the two sisters-in-law, Lidia and Roberta, with courage and determination decided to restart the production of organic Tuscan wine at the same time as the renovation of family-owned holiday farmhouses.

The Carlo Tanganelli farm, now managed by his son Marco, covers about 21 hectares, entirely cultivated according to organic farming techniques, is a small business in Castiglion Fiorentino, a town with a typically Tuscan strong agricultural tradition. The owner is a profound connoisseur of the local reality, who wanted to give a strong boost to the family business by focusing on environmentally friendly products in a territory fortunately still intact.

Thanks to this intuition, the company has found its identity by continuing to follow millennial cultivation methods, adapting them, to everything that current technology makes available to the winemaking technique. The result was excellent: the typicality and characteristics of products that would otherwise have been lost were thus guaranteed. Even from an organoleptic point of view, this gives consumers tastes and aromas that otherwise would have disappeared forever.

The crop organization provides for the cultivation of about 6.5 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and medicinal crops. The main vines for the production of wine are Sangiovese, Merlot, Trebbiano. The company is strongly export-oriented, especially in Japan and Germany, and intends to pursue a policy of quality and innovation, through the introduction in the company of all those techniques that make it possible to enhance the company's production.

The new cellar was built according to the criteria of green building. The currently strong renovation of the plants, will try to meet the needs of the market providing a product with a good value for money.

Santo Stefano di Michele Bernardini is an organic family-run farm of ancient origins. Since 1700, the Bernardini family has been involved in the production of wines, oil and honey of the highest quality, handing down the love for the land and its fruits from generation to generation.

The farm, with an area of about 10 hectares, of which about 1.3 are planted with vineyards, is located in the heart of the beautiful Valle di Chio, in the province of Arezzo, it produces wines and vinsanto Valdichiana DOC, passito , organic extra virgin olive oil, as well as various types of organic honey, all from organic farming.

For generations, the children in the family have breathed the air of tradition, of roots, the scent of good oil, pure wine, sweet honey and have grown up guided by the hand of their grandfather to love this beautiful land.

The history of the corporate brand is the history of the company itself, a research that wanted to interpret a message: simplicity, elegance, tradition, family warmth and a clear style, for a company with ancient traditions and deep roots.

In the three-year period 2005-2007, the company participated, in agreement with A.R.S.I.A. to a project aimed at the recovery, enhancement and conservation of the germplasm of four indigenous cherry genotypes of the Valle di Chio, more specifically Nerona, Moscatella, Della Punta and Sotto l'acquavite.

The Order of Graduated Agricultural Technicians of the provinces of Arezzo, Grosseto, Perugia, Siena and Terni collects those enrolled in the professional register of the interprovincial territory. The Graduated Agricultural Technician represent a specialized professional figure, with skills in the management and consultancy to agricultural companies and cooperatives, in the planning of interventions in the agri-environmental sector, in the drafting of expert reports and estimates and in all activities related to rural development.

The organization of the Register provides that the College is part of the Regional Federation of Tuscany, which in turn merges in the National College. The policy implemented by the National College, has led to the inclusion in the Register, of Environmental scientists, Biotechnologists and Naturalists, Environmental prevention technicians and Workplaces, constituting a "Unicum" in the Italian professional panorama and representing the first true multidisciplinary register.

But it is on the most difficult front, of job, of the urgent practise of the profession, that the Register of Graduated Agro-technicians and Agro-technicians has been able to give its best, promoting the creation of collective structures to strengthen the activity of those who already carries it out and help the youngest to start it.

Professional associations and service cooperatives allow professionals to compete in tenders and calls for tenders at all levels, both national and EU; while the tool of the "Cooperative Society of Professionals" (Agrifuturo), was identified by the Register as the most suitable for facilitating access to the world of job for young members.

Together with the National Federation of Veterinarians, was established an original "Foundation" for Business Consultancy (Fondagri) that is also a project partner, which further qualified the category for the design capacity that is able to express and lay the Foundation to enhance a common inter-professional action in the context of all interventions in the agricultural, environmental and zootechnical sectors.

In Emilia Romagna, with Regional Council Resolution No. 2268 of 28 December 2015, a call was presented for the establishment and management of the operational groups of the IEP, where Fondagri presented, in partnership with the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna , 2 innovative projects with the establishment of 2 GOs; The first with the title "innovating the sustainable use of water in climate change scenarios for maintaining the quality of fruit and vegetables in post-harvest", the second with the title "the development of an innovative line of integral mechanization for the packaging of delicate fruits with improved commercial quality ".

With the Emilia Romagna Region, Fondagri ha salso obtained a loan from the Mis. 1.3 of the PSR, relating to intercompany exchanges, specifically n. 5055370 and 5055342 with the Spanish Region of Andalusia, also organizing visits to various European countries, in this case self-financed.

Another structure promoted by the Register is Agrifuturo, a cooperative composed of agro-technicians, environmental scientists, agronomists, engineers, naturalists, agricultural experts, etc. which operates in the sector of environmental services and agricultural engineering for the PP.AA. and private individuals. The philosophy that animates the Cooperative is essentially that of seeking or creating job opportunities for technicians in the agro-environmental sector, or rather activities for the enhancement of these sectors.

On the initiative of the Register, born CAA CANAPA, a company authorized to offer a service aimed at simplifying the procedures and bureaucratic requirements of farms, in order to make them interact directly with the Professional, with the benefit of both of them in the context of global consultancy.

The CAA CANAPA born from an initiative of Italian agricultural technicians and graduates, is identically open and attended by numerous other professionals (Agronomists, Agricultural experts, Labor Consultants, Surveyors, Auditors, Accountants, etc.), which inthis way allow to provide the widest business consultancy, in all sectors.

For the above, the activity of the lead partner must be included in a more complex network context, within which there are the professional skills to manage the proposed project.
